3:25 p.m.: Interstate 70 is reopened in both directions.

2:55 p.m.: Interstate 70 westbound is closed at Loveland Pass due to safety concerns, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The closure extends from Loveland Pass, exit 216, to Silverthorne, exit 205. A detour is in place.

2:18 p.m.: Interstate 70 eastbound is closed at Silverthorne due to safety concerns, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The closure extends from exit 203 for East Frisco to exit 205 for Silverthorne.

2:02 p.m.: Interstate 70 westbound and Berthoud Pass are reopened after multiple crashes and vehicles sliding off the road closed the roadways for about an hour Monday afternoon.

I-70 westbound at Eisenhower Tunnel and Berthoud Pass reopened just before 2 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Drivers should expect winter road conditions west of Golden, according to the state patrol.

Clear Creek County is on accident alert, the state patrol posted on X, which means drivers involved in crashes with no injuries should exchange information and report them online.
