An adult woman is dead after she was struck by a car at the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Teller Street in Lakewood, the Lakewood Police Department announced on social media Thursday afternoon.
According to the post, the driver of the vehicle was cited for careless driving resulting in death. The woman was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries.
